The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 37,000 Refreshing Rings Infant Teethers/Rattles from importer Sassy Inc., of Kentwood, Mich. Small pieces of the plastic ball can detach, posing an ingestion hazard. The company has received one report of pieces of the black plastic from the polka dot ball detaching while being chewed. No injuries have been reported.
