Peach Pie in a Glass Recipe
There is nothing better than a homemade peach pie.drowning in fresh whipped cream or creamy ice cream BUT some of us just can’t have all the sugar and fats in this popular summertime delight. Judy and I decided to make it a healthier version minus the crust and still get all of the wonderful flavor of a fresh peach pie. The whipped cream you see is actually coconut milk we have whipped to fluffy perfection and the cashews add a bit more protein also give a creamy texture! It is so good and creamy you won’t even miss the real stuff. Enjoy!!
Guilt-Free Pasta with Lemon Cream Sauce
Being Italian, we love pasta as a meal choice all the time. And while we’ll definitely splurge on a family gathering or holiday meal, we needed to make our family recipes a bit healthier for during the week meals. Always in moderation, that’s our mom’s motto! Lemon and cream are a favorite for us – either savory or sweet – so we decided to try a lemon cream pasta a healthier way.
Oatmeal Stuffed Baked Apples
We love when we come across a recipe that we can each put our own spin on. This one can double as a healthier choice for breakfast and then again as a fabulous dessert. The Twice Baked Twins eating a piece of fruit with their morning cuppa? I don’t think so! But this recipe may just do it! Judy loves this dish as a healthy breakfast choice. What could be a better than sweet apples and creamy oatmeal to start the day? It’s just so versatile. Add whatever your family enjoys from protein powders, sweet fruits and fruit juices to any kind of nuts.
Brandied Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes
Valentines day is here again and Judy and I love doing something special for our families. Whether it is a quiet meal shared with the family, romantic “I love you” cards for the hubbies or jewelry and flowers for Mom and the girls, our most favorite thing is anything chocolate!
Monster Stuffed Peppers
These little monsters sure are cute, almost as cute as our own little monsters. They can be filled with just about anything from mac n’ cheese to spaghetti! Ingredients
