Brooke Burke: Becoming a Mommy Again and Still Learning

I thought I had it all pretty well organized until I became a new mommy again. In the picture with me is Velvet, a female, 4-month-old, German shepherd. We also have another dog, Thunder Sky, (same middle name as Sierra, she named him), Velvets brother. They arrived from Germany 2 months ago and spent 6 weeks with a trainer learning some manners before I brought them home. (Mandatory!) So far, so good. I was totally laughing with the trainers when they began to describe the plan; how important discipline is and, most of all, the power of consistency.

My Man is Coming Home to Some BIG Changes!

Month number 2 without David and counting.. The time has flown by on most days, but a few are creeping by in anticipation of him coming home. I have been sleeping with Mac for a while now, but these days my computer relationship has taken on a whole new meaning. SKYPE anyone? I must admit I am starting to feel like a cyber freak and actually look forward to alone time WITH MY COMPUTER!!!

Sleep 101

Im on day #3 of my new health and fitness plan. So far so good. Im totally sore from working out, but Im sticking to it. I have to admit that eating green and totally healthy doesnt make you feel great for the first few days, you actually feel full and bloated from all the veggies and frequent trips to the ladies room can get annoying but if you can get over the hump, it is sooo worth it.
