Sexting is the latest craze among teens. Sexting is a loose term that constitutes any photo, text message, or video that is sent from one cell phone to another. Though the craze dates back all the way to 2005 when it really scratched the surface, it has only gotten more popular. With the technological revolution that defines this generation, sexting is far more common than not. Reports of child sexual abuse are common, with 80,000 reports per year, as of 2008, according to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The number of times child sexual abuse actually occurs is much greater than what reports show because many children are afraid to tell.
