Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is expecting his first child with wife Candice Crawford!
The 31-year-old revealed the exciting news during a visit on Tuesday to Cedar Hill High School in Texas to talk with teenagers as part of the school’s Red Ribbon drug prevention campaign. According to Fox Sports, when a student asked if he had any children, Romo replied, “I got one on the way. My wife’s pregnant.”
Romo and the 24-year-old former Miss Missouri and sports anchor were married last May in Dallas. Candice is the younger sister of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford.
In an interesting coincidence, the football star’s ex-girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, has been the subject of pregnancy rumors for the past few weeks and is sporting what seems to be a prominent baby bump.
