Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan got into what Nassau County police characterized as “a verbal dispute” with her mother Dina early Wednesday morning outside the family’s home in Long Island.
Police arrived around 8 a.m. to the house where the 26-year-old actress grew up, but an investigation revealed “no criminality.”

“‘I can’t take this any more!’ Lohan howled at her mother after jumping from the passenger seat of a black Chevrolet Suburban SUV in the family driveway.
Eyewitness John Scalesi, a local photographer, said Lohan – angry and red-eyed – then tossed her purse into the air before heading inside the house.”
According to TMZ, the heated fight started after the duo went out to a nightclub in New York City. “Lindsay wanted to take her limo to her NYC hotel, but Dina wanted to take it to her home in Long Island, to avoid paying for a taxi. Somehow Dina prevailed, over the intense protests of her daughter.”

It’s just another in a long string of run-ins between the actress and law enforcement.
In September, she was accused of hitting a pedestrian with her car outside a nightclub and driving away, and just two weeks ago she alleged a man had assaulted her in a New York hotel. Those charges were later dropped.
Perhaps in an example of art imitating life, Lohan plays Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, has said that she identifies with the late actress and her struggles.
“I relate to her on a lot of levels,” she told People. “Living in the public eye, dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it’s true or not.”
