Tennis great Martina Navratilova was forced to tunr back while climbing Africa’s highest peak after feeling ill. The 54-year-old was assisted down the mountain by porters and hospitalized because of fluid accumulation in her lungs. She was diagnosed with high-altitude pulmonary edema. Fortunately, she is expected to recover quickly. Martina was trying to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise money and awareness for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation as part of a 27-person team.
