Healthy Breakfast Recipe: Cinnamon Agave Toast


We all know how important it is to start the day off right with a nutritious breakfast!

Cinnamon Agave Toast

This quick and easy recipe is a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle for yourself and her family.

Ingredients (makes 2 pieces of toast)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Earth Balance butter
  • 2 slices spelt of traditional bread
  • 2 teaspoons agave
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed (optional)


1. Spread the butter on side of bread that is face side up.

2. Mix the agave and cinnamon in a small bowl. Spread the mixture on each slice.

3. Put the bread under the broiler for 45 seconds, until it’s a little crispy on the edges.

4. Remove. If desired, sprinkle ground flaxseed on each side.
