Veterans Day: Honoring Our Country’s Heroes

“We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free.”

– Ronald Reagan

Today is Veterans Day, an annual holiday recognizing those who have served in our armed forces that dates back to November 11, 1919.

Originally called Armistice Day, it marked the official end of World War 1 when the agreement to formally end hostilities was signed at the 11th hour of the 11 day of the 11 month.

On this day, we honor all of our veterans – the brave men and women who have served our country.

We honor the sacrifices they have made for our freedom, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives to protect us, and we come together as a nation to say thank you.
