The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of CYBEX Strollers on Wednesday. This recall involves Ruby, Onyx and Topaz models of CYBEX umbrella strollers. "CYBEX" is printed on the side of the strollers.
The stroller's hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation hazard to the child when the stroller unfolds. There has been one report of a child who has fractured his finger in the hinge of the stroller. If you own this stroller, stop use immediately and contact Regal Lager to receive a free hinge cover retrofit kit.
