More bad luck for Toyota – now they are recalling the 2010 Prius hybrid worldwide. The recall will include 437,000 Priuses and Lexus HS25oh hybrids according to the Associated Press. The Lexus and the prius has a similar braking system. The U.S. transportation safety officials have been investigating the loss of brakes when driving over rough roads or potholes.
This comes after more than 9 million vehicles worldwide have been recalled due to gas pedals sticking on floor mats leading to unattended acceleration. Toyota announced that the recalls before this latest Prius recall has cost them $2 billion.
