Chicken Pasta Salad Recall Due to Salmonella Concern from Trader Joes

Before you eat that chicken pasta salad, check the package. The cilantro in it may be contaminated with salmonella. Over 7,000 pounds of "Spicy Thai Style Pasta Salad" produced October 25th through the 29th is being recalled by APPA Fine Foods. These salads are sold at Trader Joes and have the number "P-21030" in the USDA Mark of Inspection and a "use by" date of Oct. 31st or Nov. 1-6th.

Luckily there have been no reports of illness, but salmonella poisoning can be dangerous for those people with weak immune systems such as infants and elderly people.

Be careful!
