Wal-Mart Recalls 2.2M Heaters Over Fire Hazard

Wal-Mart is recalling nearly 2.2 million electric heaters because they could catch fire and cause burns.

The recalled heaters were sold under the Flow Pro, Airtech, Aloha Breeze and Comfort Essential brands.

The heaters can malfunction, causing them to overheat and catch fire.

The recalled units are 1500 watts, model number 1013. They are grey, with a metal handle on the top and vents and grey control knobs on the front of the unit.

The heaters were sold at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from December 2001 through October 2009 for $18.

Consumers should immediately stop using the heater and return it for a full refund or visit www.walmart.com for more details.
