GM Recalls 100,000 Vehicles

There is still time to squeeze in one more car recall before 2010 comes to an end. It’s GM, who is warning (posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin site) that airbags in some Cadillac models may not deploy in a crash, leading to potential risk of injury if there is a crash.

Models affected by the airbag recall include just under 100,000 2005-2007 Cadillac CTS vehicles. GM says a sensing device in the front passenger seat may not detect the presence of a front seat passenger, thus not deploying the air bag.

GM will begin recalling the cars when they have the replacement parts.

Be careful out there.
