Nearly 800,000 Dorel Car Seats Recalled

Almost 800,000 child safety seats made by the Dorel Juvenile Group are being recalled due to safety harness problems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the recall Monday.

The recall covers booster, convertible and infant seats made by Dorel.

The harness on the seats does not always return to it’s locked position, resulting in a loose harness. They have received 143 complaints of the front harness loosening.

A list of the recalled models can be found here.

For more information about the recall, call the manufacturer at 1-866-623-3139.
