Baby Mama and Saturday Night Live’s Amy Poehler, 37, and husband Will Arnett, 38, welcomed their first son, Archie Arnett, on Saturday just hours before Amy was to report to work. Seth Meyers, Amy’s co-anchor on SNL‘s “Weekend Update,” broke the news to viewers, saying that Poehler’s chair was empty because she was “having a baby.”
“On behalf of Amy and Will, I can confirm that Amy gave birth. Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably,” her rep told US Magazine.
Amy is leaving SNL to work on her own sitcom for NBC.
