Animated Safari and Aquarium Lamps Recalled Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Christmas Tree Shops have recalled 35,000 animated safari and aquarium lamps.

Defective wiring in the lamps can cause an electrical short, posing fire and shock hazards.  Christmas Tree Shops have received three reports of sparking. 

The UPC numbers of the recalled lamps are: 000015556905, 000015618955, 000015821591 and 000015821607. There are no brand markings directly on the product, but "Made in China" is printed on the bottom. 

Return the lamps to a Christmas Tree Shop for a refund.
