Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi Is Pregnant!

There is more cooking than just fancy food in the oven for Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi. She’s expecting her first child.

We’d be excited for her anyway, but it’s even sweeter because she struggled with endometriosis for years. So much so that she co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

Her rep stated that “As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by
her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its
delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi’s
privacy at this time.”

Padma is 39.
