Memorial Day Love: Honor Life

I pray for the day it will no longer be necessary to protect our country. That no more lives will have to be sacrificed. That no more mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, children and friends will have to suffer the loss of losing a loved one to war. I pray for a world where love and peace resound as our true essence. The more people who feel this in their hearts and live love as their creed, the more beautiful and awake the world becomes. We have the science and technology to destroy our planet and the gift of life within it, or we can use it for good. Making the choice to choose love means awakening to your true life’s purpose. It means dropping the insanity of our minds conditioned from the past, from fear and from pain, and choosing to live consciously in this very moment. Not the past or the future- to treasure right now. It is the only way to be truly happy and in love with life.

I believe the best way you can honor the past and the incredibly valuable lives lost is to give love in the present. I am grateful for the freedom we have in our country. It impacts me to my core how many lives were lost. I don’t believe their spirits are gone. Ask yourself- what would those who sacrificed their lives for our future and safety want from us now? If it were you, what would you want for your descendants? I believe the answer is love.

Let’s honor and remember all those who lost their lives in service to our country by spreading their love. Help the veterans alive today and those serving by lending a hand, donating your expertise, by giving them your love and appreciation. Then don’t stop there. Continue to spread the love from our veterans that have passed by living love in every breath you take, in every action you make. Honor your gift of life by giving love now, and you will create a much brighter future!

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." ~Martin Luther King Jr.
