“You should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo
of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers,” Brad Pitt tells readers of this month’s Wired Magazine.
As the cover story, the famous dad of 6 offers tongue and cheek tech advice, and offers up some social etiquette as well. “No, you can’t talk on the phone! (in the bathroom)” he tells the magazine, “Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation?”
Pitt himself approached the publication with the idea. He offers sound advice from lying about yourself on your online dating profile to looking at pornography at work. The cover of the magazine has a picture of Pitt wearing a bluetooth earpiece. The accompanying blurb says, “Rule No. 52: Ditch the headset. He can barely pull it off — and you are not him.”
What Pitt lacks in sound technical advice, he makes up for in humor. The star of the new Quentin Tarantino film, “Inglourious Basterds” said in an email that the article is a ” re-think of the celebrity magazine profile.” Look for the newest issue of Wired on newsstands July 21st.
