New mom Ellen Pompeo talks to People Magazine about her baby girl’s eating habits, saying her 7-month old girl Stella Luna now has two teeth and is starting to eat solids. According to Ellen Living a healthy lifestyle is a top priority for Pompeo, 40, who launched the Choose You movement to encourage women to focus on themselves first in order to stay healthy and to prevent cancer. Ellen says though that the cause is especially important to her: “I have to say I’ve always been a little [bit] obsessed with working out and eating right. I’ve been on this track for a while which is why I was passionate about this campaign,” she says. “I want to teach my daughter the importance of exercising and eating healthy as she grows up.” Ellen goes on to say that growing up outside of Boston, her and her grandmother (her mother died when she was four) had vegetable gardens and grew most of their own food. She didn’t eat any junk food, and she has the same policy for her daughter Stella saying she won’t even giver her daughter Cheerios: “I haven’t given her Cheerios yet but if she does she would have organic oats instead.”
