Milla Jovovich and her longtime beau Paul Anderson are
married! The actor and director pair wed in the backyard of their
Beverly Hills home on Sunday. The couple’s 20-month-old daughter Ever Gabo was one of 50 guests in attendance according to People magazine.
With a sheer veil covering her wavy hair, the 33-year-old bride said her “I Do’s” wearing a floor-length white sleeveless gown. Her 44-year-old husband looked stylish in a simple beige suit. Jovovich and Anderson exchanged 18k gold wedding bands by celebrity jewelry designer to the stars, Neil Lane. “They’re a super duper couple, they clearly adore each other,” said Lane.
Guests at the intimate affair were treated to a pre-wedding
cocktail reception by the pool, while being serenaded by a Spanish
guitar and female songstress. The after-ceremony reception featured
Cuban drum band and decadent 4 tiered, round wedding cake.
The couple met in 2002 when Jovovich starred in the box office smash “Resident Evil”, directed by Anderson. This is the third marriage for Jovovich, who previously wed at age 16 “Dazed and Confused” costar Shawn Anderson (the marriage was annulled 2 months later.) In the late 1990’s, she was also married to director Luc Busson.
Perhaps
it was the star’s previous luck with marriage that led to the couple’s
6 year engagement. “I don’t worry about my career or what other people
think about me. My main priority now is my child and my family,” Jovovich told People.
Are more kids in the works for this Hollywood couple? “I grew up as an only child, so I’ve always wanted to have a big
family,” said Jovovich. “I don’t know what the future will hold, but knock on wood, I
hope it’ll bring me a big family.”
