Reality According to Denise Richards

October 12, 2009 by ModernMom Staff Leave a Comment

What’s next for Denise Richards? A reality show on E! Network that reportedly focuses on Denise’s life as a single Hollywood mom. Expect to see her daughters, Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, making lots of cameo appearances.

Ex-husband Charlie Sheen objects to this show, and according to The New York Post, “is absolutely, 100% vehemently opposed to [the children being involved in this].” However, Denise and Charlie’s dispute over the show was settled in court this week. The ruling?

Denise CAN do the show with her little ones, but with certain restrictions that were not made public.

What is “reality” for the Richards’ household? Lots of girl stuff, that’s for sure.

A couple of weeks back when the gorgeous X-chromosome threesome dropped into the Boom Boom Room, Sam and Lola went nuts over the new Barbie Mariposa, a butterfly-themed pixie of a doll with a fairy-like dress and tiara. Sam and Lola also scooped up the Mariposa costume, with big sister insisting on wearing it – ASAP.

In fact, Denise changed Sam behind the Barbie banner behind the booth and both girls hung out at Barbie Central for the next 15 minutes.

The trio then picked up L’il Darlins’ girl-sized aprons in the decidedly pink “strut your stuff” pattern. Denise told the company rep, “These are adorable. My girls like to cook with me and they can also put their makeup in the pockets when they play!”

Oh, I think I see where this show is going – Mommy-Daughter makeovers by MAC AND Libby Lu, lunches en famille at The Ivy, followed by shopping sprees at Lisa Kline and Lisa Kline Kids down the street.

How do you feel about Denise doing a reality TV show with her toddler daughters? Would you do it if you were in her place?
