Christina Channels Her Inner Garbo in New Ad Campaign

Old Hollywood glamour is nothing new for first-time mom Christina Aguilera, who changed her image from pop tart to serious diva a few years ago.

Her love for retro fashion was obviously noticed by London-based jeweler designer Stephen Webster who just selected the star as the face of his new Spring 2008 advertising campaign. Christina has been a long time fan of Stephen’s, both professionally and personally.

“Stephen and I have been friends for many years. He is a wonderful designer with a creative spirit and innovative vision, and I am honored to be a part of it all,” she said.

The ads feature the singer embellished with various pieces from Stephen’s stunning collection of necklaces, cuffs, rings, and earrings, combining Christina’s glamorous fashion sense with the sexy world of classic noir films. The ad campaign is set to launch in the April issue of W Magazine.
