Pop superstar Sheyl Crow is a superb mom. She adopted son Wyatt, 2, and is raising the boy on her own. In our eyes, she is doing a great job.
She is doing her best to instill important values and beliefs in her little boy while he is young. One major lesson? Be eco-friendly! Crow told Babychums.com that she was taught at a young age to do her part to keep the environment clean. She wants to pass that on to Wyatt. “I was raised with this idea that you leave the campground better than how you found it. We were brought up to shut off the water when we were brushing our teeth, only ran the dishwasher when it was stuffed, never took 45-minute showers. I have a little boy now, so my concern is what kind of planet are we leaving.” Good for her. We love that she actually practices what she preaches. Lately, she has been busy promoting water conservation for World Water Day.
Crow says she is already teaching her son to do his part. “My little boy is worried about flushing the toilet – we’re already starting, at 2-and-a-half. He already knows not to flush the toilet unless, you know, you have to.” Wow. Well, at least she’s saving water.
