Brooke Mueller’s Christmas 911 Tape Released

Three days after actor and father Charlie Sheen was arrested on charges of domestic violence, Brooke Mueller‘s 911 call was released. On Friday, December 25th, Sheen was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheen’s spokesperson stated after the incident, “Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”

In the tape, a frantic Mueller states, “My husband had me with a knife. I was scared for my life and he threatened me.” When the 911 respondent asked what her husband’s name was, she responded, “Charlie Sheen.” She was in tears during the four-minute call. She described the knife as a switchblade. The 911 respondent was extremely calm and very helpful.

Sheen posted a $8,500 bond on Friday and was released from jail at 7pm on Christmas Day. He is to appear in court on February 10th, 2009. According to PEOPLE magazine, since the report, Sheen has returned to Los Angeles. Mueller remains in Aspen, Colo. with the couple’s two 9-month old children.

We know there are two sides to the story. Either way, it is not looking good for the high-profile couple.
