Heidi Klum's Jordache Line Launches

Heidi has moved from starring in Jordache’s new ad campaign to creating her own designs for the brand. In fact, the mom of three didn’t just conceptualize the line, she was totally hands-on–-or should that be “rear-end on”? — when it came to the designing process. “I was a fit model for all the clothes until it was the way I wanted it,” Klum told People magazine at the launch of “Heidi Klum for Jordache” at Bloomingdales in the Beverly Center mall last week. “I wanted something that was wearable, that fit great, cute tops, not too complicated. You go in your closet, you put it on, it fits, it works, it’s still cute, it’s sexy.”

Heidi also incorporated some of her past designs into this project. “All the buttons have my clover on it — I’ve been designing clover jewelry for the last five years so I wanted to incorporate that,” she explained. The collection already has its first fans — Heidi’s pals! “They have everything already! Of course, I have to hook up all my friends.” The line, which includes blouses and knits, is available exclusively at Bloomingdales nationwide, retailing for $140-$298.
