Melanie Griffith Makes "Routine" Trip To Rehab

Emmy nominated and Golden Globe winning actress Melanie Griffith has gone into rehab, according to Entertainment Tonight. 
The mother of three has checked herself into the rehabilitation center
Cirque Lodge.  Located in Sundance, Utah, the alcoholism and substance
abuse treatment facility is known to be one of the most private and
exclusive in the US.

“She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy.  This is
part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors
years ago,” said her representative to ET.

This is the third time the 52-year-old Hollywood star and wife of Antonio Banderas
has entered a treatment program.  Griffith first entered rehab in 1988
for an addiction to alcohol and cocaine.  She went into treatment again
in 2000, after suffering a neck injury and becoming addicted to pain
medication.
