Alison Sweeney, mom of two, host of “The Biggest Loser” and star of “Days of our Lives” is taking on yet another project – book author.
She is writing a lifestyle book called The Mommy Diet, due to be published October 2010. She told ET that “it will include tips and suggestions about nutrition, clothing, fitness and recipes. Kind of a day in the life.”
Sweeney was inspired to write the book by the people constantly asking her how to lose weight after having a baby. She isn’t just about getting into picture-perfect shape though.
“Obviously, I want to embrace the fact that what we just did is pretty spectacular. You just had a baby and you should be proud of that and not worry about how your body looks afterward.
“Of course, there are a lot of healthy things you can be doing to help yourself get back in shape because you want to be happy with what you see in the mirror, but you really should be proud of that little belly you got because it produced something spectacular.”
Seriously. Isn’t that the truth?
