Kourtney Kardashian Reveals Thought Process Regarding Pregnancy News
Kourtney Kardashian, star of the hit reality TV show, Keeping up With the Kardashians recently revealed her tough decision-making process in the face of unplanned pregnancy.
She informed People magazine that upon first learning of her pregnancy, many of her confidants suggested that she not keep the child. Says Kourtney, “I can’t even tell you how many people just say, ‘Oh, get an abortion.’ Like it’s not a big deal.”
The star goes on to explain that Scott Disnick, her current boyfriend and baby’s father, was fully supportive of her period of self-reflection before deciding to have the child.
Kourtney explains that a resolve to make her own informed decision with the help of her doctor led to her being enthused about the pregnancy and motherhood. She explains, “For me, all the reasons why I wouldn’t keep the baby were so selfish: It wasn’t like I was raped, it’s not like I’m 16. I’m 30 years old, I make my own money, I support myself, I can afford to have a baby. And I am with someone who I love, and have been with for a long time.”
