Myself Belts: Celebumoms' Fun and Fashionable Kids Accessory

Kids like to do things themselves, but when it comes to getting dressed, your kid’s help may not always be…helpful. However, celebumoms such as Felicity Huffman, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Holly Robinson Peete have used Myself Belts for their children.

Inventors Talia Bahr Goldfarb and Danielle Bahr Eason, who are also sisters, were inspired to create the Myself Belt when Talia’s son learned how to use the potty but couldn’t keep his pants up. The Myself Belt simplifies a belt’s cinching process by using a Velcro closure instead of a buckle with holes. First, the belt is hooked around a belt loop and anchored with a snap. Then, after threading it through the rest of the loops around his or her waist, a child can easily Velcro the belt closed.

The belts come in many adorable designs for both boys and girls—my faves are the pink, glittery ballet shoes pattern and the khaki belt with sailboat on it—and they come in various sizes as well. You can even add a personal touch with your child’s name stitched on the belt!
