Reality TV Next Venture for J. Lo

Actress, singer, clothing-designer, all-around-diva, and now mom of two, Jennifer Lopez is adding something new to her well-rounded resume—reality TV star. According to the World Entertainment News Network, cameras will follow the singer as she launches a new fragrance while trying to juggle her music and acting careers with motherhood. J. Lo is not only the star of the show; she will also co-executive produce it for the TLC cable channel. She says, “I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.” TLC president, Angela Shapiro-Mathes, tells People.com, “Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience.”

However, Jennifer’s manager quickly pointed out after news of the show broke that it will focus on, “the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.” I am guessing this statement came after speculation that J. Lo was thrusting her little ones into the spotlight, as Denise Richards will do when her reality show premieres Memorial Day weekend.
