Matt Damon and wife Luciana have three daughters together — Isabella, 4, Gia, 2, and Stella, 4 weeks — and one daughter, Alexia, 12, from Luciana’s previous relationship.
But, just because they have already had three kids didn’t make it any easier to add another to the brood.
“It’s been pretty crazy. The baby came a couple of weeks early. It’s our fourth, so we’ve done it before — but it’s a whole new dynamic,” Matt tells Hello! Canada.
Realizing all his daughter’s needs were different required some getting used to. “In terms of juggling responsibilities, you’re going, ‘I’ll do that. No problem, I’ll do that,’” Matt jokes. “After a week you go, ‘Wait a minute! We have to figure out a plan here.’ The girls…all require different things.”
But, Matt wouldn’t change a single thing. “It was very different, it’s true,” he says of being a father, “but I can’t imagine my life having not gone down that road. I can’t imagine what my life would be now. I don’t want to imagine it.”
