Jewel and her hubby, rodeo star Ty Murray, are parents! The singer gave birth to a son, Kase Townes Murray, on Monday evening in Texas.
Jewel told PEOPLE, "Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world. We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!" The couple were excited long before Kase was born though.
Their new bundle of joy weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 oz.
Jewel was hit by a firetruck five months into her pregnancy, but momma and baby are healthy and happy.
