Six months after giving birth to her first son, Miranda Kerr shares some info on her pregnancy and her little boy. Kerr and hubby Orlando Bloom welcomed their baby boy, Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom in January 2011. Flynn was a big baby- he weighed in at 10 pounds! Kerr was in labor for 27 hours and told InStyle Australia that the pain was so bad that “I thought I was going to die.” Despite coming into the world kicking and screaming, Kerr says Flynn flashes that smile, her heart melts and it makes it all worth it.
Flynn’s long name comes with a lot of meaning. Miranda’s first boyfriend, Christopher Middlebrook, died in a car accident as a teenager after the two had been dating for two years. Upon his death, Kerr wrote him a letter in hopes to name her first son after him. “I told Orlando and he was the one who said he’d be happy to do that. Orlando is a good guy.” Miranda told Australia’s Daily Telegraph.
