Even though his wedding to Kat Von D is officially off, Jesse James got some good news this week when he was awarded sole custody of his 7-year-old daughter Sunny on Monday at a courthouse in Orange County, CA.
The ruling ends years of legal battles in the bitter custody dispute between the West Coast Choppers motorcyle mogul and his ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder.
Lindemulder, 41, a former porn actress and recovering drug addict who announced in May that she plans to write a tell-all book that will expose details of her troubled relationship with James.
According to his attorney, John Schilling, Lindemulder will get only monitored visitation of her daughter if she remains in California. If she chooses to relocate to Texas, where James lives with Sunny and his two other children, she’ll be ordered to inpatient rehab.
"Jesse feels vindicated," Schilling told PEOPLE Magazine. "This is what he’s been claiming all along, that Janine needs therapy."
