Meet Jack Osbourne’s Daughter – Pearl Clementine!

May 7, 2012 by ModernMom Staff Leave a Comment

Just two weeks after her birth, proud papa Jack Osbourne is already giving his new baby girl a taste of life in the spotlight.

The 26-year-old introduced little Pearl Clementine to the world, posing with the baby, his fiancée Lisa Stelly and mom Sharon Osbourne on the cover of Britain’s HELLO! magazine.

“People say when you have a kid it’s like instant love, but unless you’ve experienced it, it’s impossible to comprehend,” he said in the accompanying interview. “The moment I saw her I felt more love than I’d ever felt for anything. It was the weirdest, most overwhelming thing.”

It’s been a whirlwind courtship for Osbourne and Stelly, who met at a nightclub and had only been dating for  three months when she discovered she was pregnant.

“I told Lisa, ‘You need to give me a week to really take this in’. I had that time to get my head around the whole situation,” Jack recalled.

But with the birth of their daughter, the couple seems to be stronger than ever. They got engaged in September and told the magazine they plan to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony sometime this year.

And they’ve already navigated one divisive issue that new parents face – the baby name game. The pair shared the story and admitted it took some compromising on both sides.

“Jack didn’t like [Pearl] at first. He liked Moxie. That could be the name of a Bratz doll. I was like, ‘Heck no,’” Stelly joked.

Osbourne responded, “I thought Pearl sounded like a grandma, but then I thought it would be really cute to have a little girl with a grandma name, so I came around to it.”

Luckily, they were able to find some common ground.

“Her middle name is Clementine. It took us a really long time to choose that, but I think it’s perfect,” said Stelly.
