Jenny McCarthy Graces the Cover of Playboy at Age 39

June 25, 2012 by ModernMom Staff Leave a Comment

It’s no secret that Jenny McCarthy is one hot mama.

The blonde bombshell – who has a son with autism – has been very open about showing her support for causes that aid autism research, but now she’s showing off more than her passion for activism.

The “Love in the Wild” host is baring her bod at the age of 39 in an 8-page pictorial for the July/August double issue of “Playboy.”

She first posed nude for the pages of “Playboy” in 1993 as Playmate of the Month. In 1994, she graced the cover as Playmate of the Year.

Now, as she approaches 40, McCarthy is feeling sexier than ever and is “proud” to be stripping down for them once more.  The double issue – which comes out on Friday – will be her sixth cover and her seventh pictorial.

“I feel 100 billion times more sexual, and that comes out in this pictorial,” she told “Playboy.”

While her earlier covers were very playful – including one featuring the actress/model in a leopard print bunny bustier and ears (classic “Playboy” model attire), this time around the vibe is *comparatively* classy.  Jenny has her hair and make up done in classic ’40s pin-up style and poses beautifully with her legs crossed.

“The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They’re really elegant. It’s probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you’d see of people with their clothes on,” she told PEOPLE.

The biggest difference though between her Playboy spread and something out of W – her fabulous curves! McCarthy is a far cry from the waif thin models that grace many high-fashion mag covers.

In her words, “The one thing I like about Playboy is they don’t have the anorexic look. The women are voluptuous. So I didn’t really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up.”

What do you think about her cover shot?
