British singing sensation Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed a baby boy on Friday, according to reports.
A family source confirmed the news to People, saying “We are all over the moon.”
It’s the first child for the 24-year-old, whose hit album “21” topped charts around the world. Konecki, 38, is also the father of a five-year-old daughter with his ex-wife.
The singer announced the news that she was expecting back in June:
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”
As for reports that she gave birth, a spokesperson has refused to confirm or deny the claims, insisting, “We are not releasing a statement at this time. No comment.”
In addition to the baby news, Adele has also been in the headlines recently for singing the theme tune to the latest James Bond movie “Skyfall.”
