In a tragic story that seems almost too surreal to believe, Paul Walker – who rose to fame following his role in the “Fast and Furious” franchise – was killed in a fiery car crash Saturday afternoon.
According to TMZ, the actor was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support relief efforts for the recent Philippines typhoon.
The 40-year-old was allegedly in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree.
According to numerous sources, Walker and another person who was in the car were both killed.
A native of Glendale, CA, Walker appeared in Pleasantville and Varsity Blues as well as the hit ’90s comedy She’s All That
He is survived by his daughter Meadow Rain, 15.
