Oh baby! More than a million pacifier clips have been recalled by Playtex due to choking hazards, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced today.
Here’s the problem: the pacifier holder clips can crack and a small part can break off, which equals a dangerous choking hazard for little ones.
Most moms are familiar with this sort of clip – they are meant to attach pacifiers to clothes, diaper bags, strollers and so on.
The clips affected by the recall are plastic with a “Playtex” copyright logo that slides up and down to adjust the clip, a
ribbon and a clear plastic ring that stretches to fit the pacifier.

They were sold in green with a monkey figure, pink with a
flower and blue with a tow truck.
