Sometimes getting a toddler to go down for their afternoon nap can be trying and exhausting. Ive run into this recently with my 2 year old son. He has been in a bed for about 5 months and over that 5 month period there are days when I dont need to go to the gym because Ive gone up and down our stairs 20 times to tell him to get back into bed. But I must say this happens fairly infrequently because I follow the steps below:<

I have a little beef Id like to take up with all of the pediatricians offices and hospitals out there. No, its not about the wait times, its not about the toys that seem to crawl with germs, its not about why you would put the fun mural and clown mirror on the sick side of the waiting room leaving my healthy child there for a developmental check up to run over there and hang out. Pure craziness.

I always scoffed whenever big electronics stores would ask me if I wanted the extended warranty. Extended warranty? You mean profit for you that I will never be able to take advantage of because if I ever have an issue it certainly wont fit within the guidelines of warranty coverage right? Yeah that one. Right.

It is a Saturday night. My husband left this afternoon for a week of work in Madrid. My son is having trouble getting to sleep and keeps complaining of a sore ear, a tummy ache, a sore eyebrow (I thought that was pretty creative), anything to get me to stay up in his room and sing to him. Normally I wouldnt, but tonight Im a little Olympicsd out and really dont have anything else to do, so I dont mind.
