The War on Weight loss is Almost Over

November 15, 2009 by Kristin_Anderson Leave a Comment

Let’s face it, this week is the last authentic week of working out and staying balanced that we’ll have until January 2, 2010. Let’s make the most of it! Because we know that starting next week the war we all wage on weight loss is over for the year- there is no more losing weight-just hopefully maintaining it (or only gaining 2-3 pounds).

Keep it real this week. Use the fact that beginning next Thursday and ending January 2nd, 2010, we are all giving ourselves a little, or a lot, of license to indulge.

Look at your calendar and schedule in 4 cardio sessions before next Sunday. Whether it be at a gym, hiking or fast walking with your partner or family, or taking yourself to a park. Add to that cardio some lunges, planks and pushups and you will be ready to rock the holidays!

If you are looking for a 5 day plan-check out my earlier blog posted on 11/1/09 titled “1lb Down in 5 Days.”

Remember, you NEVER feel bad about yourself after working out.

Today for Veggie Everyday let’s find some true greens. Here are a few to get your started– lettuces, spinach, chard, and broccoli. Some heartier greens include collards, mustard greens, and kale. In case you are wondering, radicchio and endive count as greens too. Last but not least don’t forget your green herbs like parsley, cilantro, basil, rosemary, and thyme.

Let’s all win the battle of the bulge this week so that we may look back victoriously on the year!

Good Luck! We are in this one together!

Losing and maintaining weight is as easy as 1,2,3 with Kristin's website www.mydailytrainer.com where you will find workouts, meal plans, a progress tracker and a lot of help from Kristin herself.
