Why Using a Professional Power Toothbrush Makes a Difference #OralBSponsored

Before receiving the Oral-B® Professional™ Precision 5000 as part of a blog tour with Modern Mom my family was using the least expensive battery powered toothbrushes we could find from our local grocery store. I could definitely feel and see the difference using a power toothbrush was making over a manual one. However, the Oral-B® Professional™ not only feels 10x better than the battery powered brush I was using; it has also corrected my brushing habits.

The Oral-B® toothbrush comes with a clock and timer to aid you in brushing your teeth for the correct amount of time, 2 minutes. Every 30 seconds it beeps so you know to switch to the next quadrant of your mouth. You also receive a star for each quadrant. Receiving 4 stars and a smiley face for a job well-done makes you feel like a kid again. Who doesn’t love praise?!

What I love about the star system is that I can see exactly how long my kids brushed their teeth for without having to stand over them the entire time. The kids actually really enjoy getting their stars. It feels like an accomplishment to them. I’m really glad the toothbrush is rechargeable so there is no more changing batteries all the time.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a clock in my bathroom and I have to say it is a huge help for being on time.

Soon after receiving the toothbrush I purchased a few extra toothbrush heads for my kids and husband. They were staring at me brushing my teeth so I figured I should share. The tray holds 4 toothbrush heads and we have different color bands denoting which toothbrush head belongs to who, plus we place them back in the same slot each time.

I do have to admit I might be buying a second one to put in the kids bathroom, but I’ve taught them to rinse and dry off the toothbrush well so sharing hasn’t been hard at all.

Brush Your Teeth Perfectly

My teeth feel noticeably cleaner. More like going to the dentist clean, and now I consistently brush my teeth properly, which I am thankful for because our oral health is really important to our overall well-being. I believe this toothbrush is a good investment in your health.
