Keurig Recalls Over 6 Million Coffee Makers

Yikes – hopefully one of these isn’t under your Christmas tree.

Keurig Green Mountain is recalling 6.6 million Mini Plus Brewing Systems due to risk of water overheating during brewing and spraying out of the machine. Keurig received about 200 reports of hot liquid spraying out of the machine. 90 people reported burn-related injuries.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recalled brewing systems are the model number K10 and have a number printed on the bottom of the machine starting withe ’31’. They were sold online between 2009 and 2014.
