Kiddieland Recalls Disney-Branded Tinkerbell Trikes

Kiddieland has voluntarily recalled 12,000 Disney Fairies Plastic Racing Trikes because they pose a potential laceration hazard.

Children can suffer cuts from the plastic fairy which sits on the handle bars if they fall on it. Recently, a three year old girl from Ohio suffered facial lacerations near her right eye.

The recalled Trikes are green and purple with a white seat and yellow wheels. There is a Tinkerbell figurine on the handle bars and a logo “Disney Fairies” on the front. They were sold exclusively at Target from July 2009 through December 2009 for about $50.

If you think you have one of the affected products, you should stop using it immediately and contact Kiddieland for a free replacement handlebar with enclosed rotating display.

Consumers can contact Kiddieland at (800) 430-5307 or visit the company’s website for additional information
