If you’ve visited McDonalds recently with your kids you are going to want to read on. The fast food restaurant issued a massive recall – 2.3 million Happy Meal toys. It’s for their latest toy – a Hello Kitty Birthday Lollipop (wow, first the controversy over whether she really is a cat and now this).
Components of the detachable heart-shaped whistle can detach and cause chozing and aspiration hazards according to the CPSC. McDonalds received reports of two children were injured and one required medical attention.
Please take the whistle away from your children immediately and you can go to McDonald’s and they’ll give you a new toy and a yogurt tube or bag of apples.
