Keri Russell Says Making Movies is Like Summer Camp

Former “Felicity” and “Mission Impossible 3” star and celebumom Keri Russell, says that being an actress is much like being a summer camper “in this intensive way.” From her work on various projects, Keri said she has learned a variety of skills that she wouldn’t have otherwise picked up.

“When I did the Into The West, I learned to ride horses, mount and grip the hair. Then it was all cello [for August Rush],” she said. For
Mission: Impossible III, she says, “It was machine-gun assembly blindfolded, and jumping off buildings with Tom Cruise.” It’s this part of her job that entices her to keep working, even after having her son River. Keri said, “You get to learn something and then walk away from it and learn something else.” Not only is acting never boring, it seems it’s also fulfilling for Keri on so many levels.
