The Sweet Leaf Tea Company is voluntarily recalling 1.5 million bottles of their iced tea due to potential glass fragments.
The company has received four complaints of consumers finding glass in their tea bottles. The recall is the result of a glass breaking during the tea filling process. No injuries have been reported.
The products recalled are: 16 ounce glass bottles distributed between February 27, 2015 and December 6, 2015.
The flavors of tea include raspberry, peach, mint and honey, half-and-half lemonade tea, green tea with citrus and Sweet Leaf Tea original.
The company says they are acting out of an “abundance of caution.”
