Make Your Own Vintage Valentine’s Day Cards

February 6, 2017 by Jessica Begum Leave a Comment

These beautiful vintage Valentines are simple to make and will charm the pants off of your Valentine!

Okay, they’ll most likely keep their pants on, but will be utterly impressed with your homemade effort!

Supplies

  • Cardstock
  • Matte photo paper
  • Glitter glue
  • Spray glue
  • Home printer
  • Gold pen
  • Decorative edge punch

Directions

First, Google “Royalty Free Vintage Valentines” and lots of vintage valentine images will come up.  I chose images from a few different sites.

Then I enhanced them a bit in Photoshop.  You don’t have to do that, but it will help saturate the colors so they are nice and vibrant!

I printed them out on matte photo paper and then spruced them up a bit with gold paint and glitter.

Next, I cut out cute frames for them, and spray glued them onto cardstock.  I used Martha Stewart’s floral edge hole punch to make the frame here.  I also think a scalloped edge would be cute too.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
